PAM-4 and PAM-8 transmission in Visible Light Communication system employing Volterra kernels based Feed Forward Equalizer

Abstract

Volterra kernels based channel equalizer is experimentally demonstrated to mitigate the nonlinearity in visible light communication system. We also simplify the Volterra algorithm and find a trade-off between the transmission performance and the computational complexity.
