Photo-based Multi-perspective Image Rendering for Tabletop Light-field 3-D Displays

Abstract

An image-based method of rendering multi-perspective images for tabletop light-field 3-D displays is proposed. Whereas conventional methods require 3-D polygon models, our method synthesizes them directly from photographs and ordinary computer-generated images.
